Although there are many electric vehicle models in the market that pursue long cruising range and higher performance, Nissan’s LEAF (LEAF) is a good choice. On Tuesday, Nissan officially announced the 2022 Leaf, which further lowered the price threshold. The basic model LEAF S starts at $27,400 (approximately 177 thousand yuan), is equipped with a 40-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and has an estimated cruising range of 149 miles.
If you have a higher demand for battery life, you can choose the top-of-the-line LEAF SL Plus, which is equipped with a 62 kWh battery pack and provides 215 miles of range, but you need to pay an additional $10,000.
Now every 2022 LEAF is equipped with a standard CHAdeMO charging port to speed up the charging speed and a portable 240-volt charging cable. Most importantly, Nissan’s ProPilot Assist advanced driver assistance kit is now standard equipment, as is its smart surround view monitor (360-degree camera).
