
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has expressed concern over Iran’s “destabilizing” move in the Middle East.

Anthony Blinken later told a joint news conference that the United States and Egypt were “deeply concerned” about Iran’s role in destabilizing the region and its efforts to exert influence.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister is currently on a visit to Washington with a high-level delegation. During his visit, the two countries are expected to discuss “strategic cooperation”
At a news conference, Blinken praised Cairo’s role in the issue, stressing the need to withdraw foreign troops from Libya.
He emphasized the need to focus on Libyan elections, which are set to begin in December.
